Last weekend was the Dogwood ATHA Hook In. It was, once again, held at the wonderful Atlanta Country Club,,,thanks, Millie!! Great vendors, fun visiting with friends, and, of course, wonderful inspiration.
Barbara Springer won favorite rug from the rug show with her German Villages.
Two of my besties doing a little retail therapy.
The rugs didn't have the hookers' names on them because voting was anonymous. I will share what I know.....and just say that the rugs did not fail to inspire.
A look at three of Diane Gill's original designs on her vendor table.
Another beauty by Chris Johnson.
Sheri Bennett's Rick Rack rug, pattern and teacher Nancy Parcels.
Primrose by Maggie B and Nancy Jernigan.
Sauder Eagle, designed and hooked by Diane Gill.
Live Within Your Harvest. This one was Diane's entry into the Out of Hand Rughooker's challenge.
Cute multimedia rug by Alice Berg.
There were many more rugs that I simply failed to get photos of.
Miss Mattie had her check up on Monday. I was shocked to find that in the 5 1/2 weeks that she has been with us, she has gained from 6# to 18#!!! The vet estimates that her adult weight will be around 60#. She is going to be a big lap dog!!!
Got to love it!!!
Take care,
Jennie
Wonderful rug show and very inspiring. Each time I see a photo of Mattie it is as tho she is posing for the photo. Such a cute girl.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lot of neat things to look at while working away. Always inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
