Some Stitching and Everyday Stuff........

Last month's Quilt Doodle BOM was a tree.  I think that mine needs a little more contrast, but I will chalk it up to a lesson learned and won't remake it.  Still have April's block to finish.

This is the second Mr. Bluebird on My Shoulder CQ block.

And this is the first month's blocks of Homestead Hearth's BOM, Forever Christmas.

Spring has arrived in Georgia, despite the cool temps today.  Our flowers are so pretty and we enjoy them despite all of the pollen that plagues us.

 Dogwood

Azalea

Of course, the post wouldn't be complete without an animal photo.  Miss Daisy is really growing up.  And just look at those ears and eyebrows.....she is a tricolor.  What a sweetie she is!!

GRATITUDES:
Small town life.
Woods abloom in dogwood blossoms.
The ticking and chiming of clocks reminding me of those who heard them before me.

Take care,
Jennie

  2. Awwwww! She's an adorable little gal! :-) Great blocks too! We went from Summer to Winter here in 24 hours... lol! The poor magnolia blooms got all tossed about... 'tis Spring! ;-)

  3. The tree shows up well in the photo so I think it has enough contrast. The bluebird is so very sweet. Nice!
