A couple of weeks ago we had our Dogwood ATHA Hook In with rug show. I never got around to sharing these wonderful rugs, so I thought that today was a good day for it. Enjoy!
Thanks for the show! I have lots of squirrels, but thankfully they have not (yet) caused any damage. On the other hand, they are eating my son's wood porch railings :(
The first one, the doll is a Kindred Spirit design, of which I made several. Still have two which I never got around to selling. That "Fat Fat" design is so cute and from Mad Hen Prims. Enjoyed all the hooked items!
What a wonderful variety of rugs and styles. Some are so simple, some so complicated, and yet I'm each every one of them takes hours and hours and yards and yard of wool to create, not to mention skill! Have I mentioned how much I love the painterly ability of wool stripes to create the images. The wool strips used in some of the backgrounds add so much richness to the rugs. Beautiful, all! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Beautiful rugs. There are so many different styles in this post. It's such fun to look at them all. I love the oak leaves and acorns, too. It's colors capture the feeling of autumn.
Thanks for the show!
