There is that empty, sad feeling deep in your heart ...even though you know it is the right thing.
Roxie was vocal and assertive. Almost catlike in her desire to be independent. There was never any question about what she wanted.
She and her brother, Rascal, came to us as wild rescues at the age of four months and they gave us a run for our money. But they were worth it all.
She will be sorely missed, but we were so blessed to have had her in our lives all of these years.
Take Care,
Jennie
Oh, Jennie, I'm so sorry. I think losing a beloved pet as very nearly as difficult as losing a beloved friend. There is that awful heartache.... She looks such a sweetie. Blessings to you and those who loved and will miss Roxie.
ReplyDeleteSuch sad news for such a loving companion. My heart hurts with you.
ReplyDeleteRun fast and free, sweet Roxie. Say hi to Loocie and Ellie when you meet them at the Rainbow Bridge.
ReplyDeleteSo, so sorry Jennie.
Hugs,
Lauren
I am so sorry for your loss! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteHow sad. Roxie had a good home with your family.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a dog friend.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear of your loss. Your Roxie looked a little like my Daisy - who I lost a few years ago. Daisy was a feisty, bossy alpha female. They leave their little paw prints on your heart
ReplyDeleteJennie, I'm sorry for your heartbreak. Roxie was a lucky dog to find her way into your loving home.
ReplyDeleteOMG... how in the hell did I miss this. I'm so sorry for your loss and not being there immediately to help with your grieving. It is devestating to lose a beloved pet and ....yes I wonder why do it again over and over.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you.
