Determined

I am feeling determined to work consistently to a finish on Cathedral Windows. My approach is to complete the units that make each block first, as that seems to be what Bonnie does. I normally have a tendency to do a few blocks at a time. I admit, the unit concept seems more efficient.

And so, I am making the 4-patches. 302 of them, 3 1/2" unfinished. Using the step set method, with shorter strips for variety, I have finished about 100. I have a good many more strip sets ready to slice and stitch. And, as I previously posted, all of the 1/2 square triangles are done. So, I am good with my progress.

I have also been taking some time each day to work on taming my scraps....a never ending job, it seems.

Macy, seen here portraying Betsy Ross on Wax Museum Day at her school, had a most successful school year. At her Honors Day program she was awarded with the Principal's Award, A Honor Roll, Citizenship Award, Honors Chorus Award, Good Attendance and Responsibility Awards.
And at her gym, she received the Coach's Award.
Way to go sweet girl!!!

Words of wisdom from Bonnie Hunter....
Take Care,
Jennie
