I finally got one of the three December FF blocks done....
And have the next one ready for stitching.
The next Homespun Medallion Block is hooked...
Coral and teal,,,my favorite combo.
The light/medium blue RSC nine patches number 60.
Don’t know how many I will need for the chosen quilt, but I am pretty sure I went overboard. Never mind, they will all get used somewhere.
And finally, after much ado, I have the row layout determined for Glorious Gardens...
I tried lots of ways to do it, but honestly, it was just hard. Finally I did my best to balance colors, lights darks and brights and just said enough. Hoping they all work together in the end.
Take Care,
Jennie
Wow, your list is as long as mine, but you're winning. I'll have to put my track shoes on to catch up.
ReplyDeleteWow! It all looks great! I Love teal & orange too. It's funny when you're on a roll with nine patch, it's easy to get ahead of yourself. I'm excited to see what you are doing with them. That's a good looking block you have finished too. This year I'm telling myself for every UFO I get finished, then I can do a new project...so far so good! It's working!
ReplyDeleteYour weekly goals sure are paying off. So much accomplished. WOW!
ReplyDeleteYour December FF block is a beauty, but I'm still partial to your nine patch blocks :)
Hugs,
Lauren
Thank you for this your broadcast provided bright clear concept.

That first block -- I love it! I've never been particularly attracted to "T" quilts until just lately. I've seen a few in books that make them much more appealing, and now this block! Will you make many more of these or will this block be part of a sampler quilt? Your Glorious Gardens blocks really are glorious! Luscious and bright -- beautiful!
