Binding Prep

The big Bernina is going off for repairs AGAIN tomorrow, so I quickly machine stitched some bindings on a couple of quilts before it leaves.
When I get them hand stitched I can mark off a QOV and a UFO.

Now for dinner and then Bible Study.

Take Care,
Jennie

  1. It's the pits to be without my Bernina too. Oh, and costly to fix those buggers. Although I do have a backup it just isn't the same as having my Bernina. Hope you get it back soon.

  2. I've caught up on your previous posts and love your special sayings. That dog sure can grow! Does he get to be gigantic? How is your dehydrator coming along? We had a prune plum (Italian plum), the freestone kind. I sliced and made wonderful dried snacks. Also had a pesky old pear tree that dropped ripe plums on the deck with a bang. I called them Kamikaze pears. Just peeled and cut out bruises, sliced. They were also good. Your LB blocks are so special. Keep up the good work.

  3. Ugh! I hope they fix your Bernina right this time... can be so frustrating when all you want to do is relax with some sewing... good idea with the binding ! Love the quote you posted today! :-)
