Busy, busy

This morning was spent volunteering as a Master Gardener (yes, I made it, completing my 50 volunteer hours last week...happily ahead of the end of year deadline!!!) at the local extension office. Got home, thinking I would get all of the star points stitched up on Cathedral Stars....after laundry, etc.

So, this is how far I got before having to stop to cook dinner...
Half done...all of the left hand points are stitched on. Took way longer than I had anticipated, but still progress.

I frequently see folks posting about their favorite stitching tools. Well, this is one of
mine...
The trusty lint roller. Great for cleaning off my cutting mat, ironing board, and clothes, of course.  If you don't have one in your sewing space, you should!

Following dinner, we enjoyed watching Jackson's team win their second football game.

Sara Ashley had a day of firsts. First day of school, first day at her new school and first day as a high school student.
She said that it was all good.

Sew true !!!

Take care,
Jennie
