Cathedral Stars

Today I relished in the opportunity to take a quilting workshop with Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville fame. It was everything I had hoped for. This gal is not overrated!!! So many great tips and techniques.

The quilt we worked on was Cathedral Stars....
Close ups showing her amazing use of scrappy fabrics....

We also enjoyed a Quilt show of Bonnie quilts from many of the participants.
This one is my favorite.

All of our blocks grouped on the floor at the end of the day....

My blocks for the day...
And tonight I assembled all of the half square triangles.

Thanks, Bonnie! Looking forward to another quilt and day of fun tomorrow .

Take care,
Jennie

  1. Goodness, some of those quilts were so complex that I'd be going cross eyed working closely with them. What a cute stitchery!

  2. I like the neutral piece at the bottom of your post. Is that something you made?
