Vintage

Vintage is finally done and out the door.
It will be in the Silent Auction for the Can't Never Could Annual Fundraiser Dinner tomorrow night.

The next two days will be completely devoted to final preparations for the dinner. Did I mention that Denise Jackson is our guest speaker?? So exciting. For those of you who aren't country music fans, she is the wife of country singer Allen Jackson, and both are hometown kids...Newnan, GA, in case you didn't know. Christi and Rob's first home was actually Allen and Denise 's first home.
Our fundraiser sold out at 430 seats....we are thrilled.

Got the house painted last week, and I have to say that I am loving it. So serene in comparison to the original yellow gold that it was when we bought it.
Gettysburg Grey and Maritime White....though it really is a grey green.

And new handrails at the mudroom entry for us old folks. Much safer when the leashed dogs drag us down the stairs.

Can't go without a couple of Mattie pics....
Helping in the garden.....see the nice, cool hole she and Buddy dug?
And just look at how big she has gotten!!!

Take care,
Jennie

Your quilt is beautiful and it sounds like the fundraiser will be very successful thanks to the generosity of people like you.

  3. Look at Mattie's big paw paws. She's got some growing to do to fit in those shoes. Love that gorgeous quilt!!!! Sure wish you had a sound bite on your blog to hear them so we might purchase a CD too, if'n we want.

  4. I love your quilt, it is gorgeous! Is there a pattern for it? Your home is lovely. I really like the color. I'm a dog person and I think your baby is so sweet looking. Hugs,

  5. Your quilt is beautiful. I love those huge blocks. (At least I assume they are huge because it looks like someone is holding up the quilt so it must be at least about 2" long.)

Your home is beautiful. Yellow is one of my least favorite colors and I would probably have had trouble buying a yellow home. But the house is beautiful, even better now with your new paint.

I hope Mattie's help in the garden consists only of digging where no plants have been planted. She's a cutie.
