Having Fun!!

I am at the Spring Tennessee Rug Retreat....thank you Rhonda!!! I am going to share with you a few glimpses of our works in progress today.

Sheri finished hooking Bones, an older pattern by Jenny Rupff.

Nancy's hooking a mixed media pineapple. Pattern by Sheri Bennett, teacher, Michelle Micarelli.

Deste has hooked a million lambs tongues on this wonderful Edyth O'Neal rug, an eagle.

Vicky designed this great stool cover that she is hooking.

This original design of Kathie's is a reproduction of her beautiful drapery fabric. And yes, she obtained permission from the fabric designer.

Rhonda is making great progress on this stunning lamb...in a 3 cut.

Nancy is finishing up a penny rug table topper for her breakfast room table. It is very cool, in a star shape.

Becky is nearly done with this stunning runner. Pattern by Sally Kalin, hooked in 1" torn strips, then clipped.

Sheri, Nancy and Becky perusing the internet.

I finally finished binding Bible Friends by Patsy Becker...started many moons ago in class with Jeanne Benjamin.

I pulled Nancy's Baskets, an adaptation of an antique by Eric Sandberg, from the UFO pile. It has been at least 3-4 years since it has seen the light of day.

The Estes family and
the Hornes at Easter. Love these kids.

Take care,
Jennie

  1. Beautiful families! Oh my but what great eye candy. Interesting what the black and white honeycomb wool does to a design. It made a great showing in the Sally Kallin runner. There are so many rugs in progress that I'd love for you to show us again and again as they are finished. Thanks for the show.
