A Little Slow Stitching

A little CQ heart soon to be sent away to join many other lovingly stitched blocks. They will become a Comfort Quilt for an online group member who tragically lost her child.

I love the way Quilters always come together to shore friends and strangers up with their talents and kindness.  Linking up for
Sunday Slow Stitching.

These are on the design wall. 53 little baskets. I think that if I add some 9 patches and some more plain blocks strategically it could be a lap sized quilt.

I think that it will take awhile to shave them down to size. And looks like I will need to pay attention to balancing the ones with the little cut outs.

This handsome young man had a birthday.

He’s the youngest of our grands and is growing up way too fast!!

 Take Care,
Jennie

  3. You are a woman of many talents. The fancy embroidery stitches are not my calling. I have a couple books with stitches and diagrams. I have to look at them while attempting anything and then my stitches never look all that great.
