Slow Stitching Sunday

Only a little while for slow stitching today as Blake and I took the day off to relax together. Not something we do very often.

I am still working on the second circle of the Fussy Cut six pointed stars.

Putting the stars into a circle...easy. Inserting the big hexagon...not so much. Linking up at
Slow Sunday Quilting. Thanks, Kathy, for moving us forward each week!

I usually share a rug show from Caraway Rug School every year. That didn't happen this year, but I will share a few of my faves.

It is hard to appreciate the beauty of this one as it had incredible textural details.

This one absolutely glowed.

And this one is by my favorite designer and dear friend, Diane Gill. Hooked by her talented sister.

There were many other beautiful rugs. It was one of the best shows ever.

I read this a long time ago and have to say that it was one of the most freeing things anyone ever conveyed to me about quilting and hooking.

Take Care,
Jennie
