Done!!

My Way is done!!

Well, except for blocking and binding, of course. It is wool strips (size 5-9) on linen, measuring 30"x 54". It is hooked entirely from my scrap bags....and needless to say, I didn't make a dent in them.

I believe my next hooking project will be this runner that I started in Anita White's class this Spring....

Homespun Medallions, by Norma Batistini. It is a long runner for Christi's farmhouse table. It will be a fun hook.

Our old folks hospital group had their quarterly lunch on Wednesday.

It is always surprising how much fun we have after all of these years. I am already looking forward to October.

Did a little kid sitting with these two this week...

Gotta love those cute freckles and that gap toothed smile.

Connected....a typical preteen.

It is a hot day in GA, too hot for working outside. Think I might get a little stitching done today.

Take Care,
Jennie

  1. I LOVE your first rug and you are off to a wonderful start on your medallion rug ~ can't wait to see it as it progresses. I'm glad that my growing up years weren't like today's kids. Back when I was a teen we invented things to do, made our own fun and didn't have video games, texting, social media and it was a simpler time of life. I wouldn't change what I had for anything.

  3. do you put your finished hooked rugs on the floor? maybe in an out of the way place? I just love your rugs-both the new project and the old.
